Unspoken Words

In the depths of my soul, I’m vibrant and alive,

But on the surface, I’m fragile and tired.

To keep my suffering hidden from view,

I smile and laugh, but it’s far from truth.

I dance around in my house and sing with the girls,

But inside, I'm haunted by unspoken words.

I long to be free from this silent pain,

And to let my true colours shine again.

I’m a flower in bloom, so bright and bold,

But I carry a burden that cannot be told.

I suffer in silence, my heart heavy with fear,

But I’ll rise above and I’ll persevere.

l’m not defined by my silent tears,

I’m a warrior, overcoming my fears.

I may be fragile, but I’m also strong,

And I have suffered in silence, for far too long.
