To Live

A strength lies buried,
hidden until needed.
Not a superpower,
not a weapon,
hidden it remains.
Resilience is its name.

A refusal to break,
the pledge it makes.
Gifting one the ability:
rising through the flames,
reborn like a phoenix,
never-ending fighting,
crawling for air, for survival,
         to live.
