Dark room

In this pitch black night ,
Hovers my own thoughts,
Dark and burdened,
Exhausting to the soul ,
And acceptable to the spirit.

This dark room aligns with my emotions,
lifeless and d hopeless,
Dull and uninviting ,
Like the starless sky on a winter night,
And like moonless sky in summer.

Swayed by emotions,
My feet move towards a thorny path ,
Falling into a pit,
A pit of no return,
Where emotions are trapped by the mind ,
And controlled by the heart,
A place where despair reigns over,
And fear ceases to exist,
For it had already broken down my walls,
And walked over what was left of my will.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed day.
