I keep on moving step by step

I keep on moving, step by step
Through the sunshine, through what's left
In my life, I need a hand to hold
Friends and family, they’re my gold
Sometimes I fear the night, it’s true
Afraid of silence, afraid of who
I might be without arms to lean
But I wake each day, chase the dream
Oh, I find the beauty in every breath I take
The quiet moments, or the ones that break
Life is precious, like the first sunrise
No, I can't gamble with these borrowed skies
Sometimes the distance, it feels so far
Between two hearts, like light to star
But I’ve learned the rhythm of give and take
A little space can heal, not break
I carry the whispers of my Father’s song
Guiding me gently, keeping me strong
Appreciate the path, the highs and lows
Roots running deep, and endless roads
Oh, I find the beauty in every breath I take
The quiet moments, or the ones that break
Life is precious, like the first sunrise
No, I can't gamble with these borrowed skies
Breaks may come like waves to shore
But love comes back, it’s what it’s for
In the stillness, I find my way
A compass tuned to a brighter day
Oh, I find the beauty in every breath I take
The quiet moments, or the ones that break
Life is precious, like the first sunrise
No, I can't gamble with these borrowed skies
