Dearth

Accustomed to be the sunshine of the sun,
Attuned to catch up with all the fun,
Worn myself, all to gain love from trust,
While may this be true, it all is just nothing,
A piece of paper driven through handwriting
Is just a paper ash when let fire light it

Oh, I’m past all the tests,
I’m to perform and shine,
This may be true if
I wasn’t just a design,

Oh, never have I ever really aced,
Once by chance, never by fate
Little too young to understand

Truth’s alive that I slept through my life’s past,
In nights, there were wolves and haunting fears I’d have
With a ghostly sound, demons around, scary crowd
And silence pacing, trading, phasing in and out
As if I was meant for the longing out of dearth for a crown

Oh, I’m told, only
I shall do things perfectly,
Oh, not for me, only
For the ones I love fondly

Truth’s spirit lies in doubts over insecurity,
Anxious actions going tick, tick, tick…
With judging reactions burning my wick, wick, wick…
Trying was I to feel good for my life, life, life…
For my voice, body, soul, euphonic mind
Filled in with unforeseen rhymes, rhymes, rhymes.
