Making it in life

On Friday,
I made my bed
And I made a cup of tea,
Then, I made my friends laugh
And I made my Mum proud of me.

Yesterday,
I made a playlist,
And I made my way around
And then, I made conversation
And I made my guitar make a sound.

I am an artist now
As I’ve been an artist before
Because I am making it in life,
And so, of making things, I’ll never bore.

Today,
I made this list
And then tomorrow,

I’ll make more.

Today,
I made this list
Because making things is what we’re for.
