Depression hits

Depression hits in many different ways
Some struggle to get up most days
Happy people see the sun, feel it's rays
Look at us and think it's just a phase
I know for me, I feel stuck in a maze
A crazy train, drugged up haze
From my dark tunnell, I can see a light
It lures me closer to the end of my fight
My heart skips a beat at the beautiful sight
I am blessed and protected now
Knowing this is getting me through somehow
The strength I feel is actually Real
It grows inside, returning how I really feel
Minutes to hours, day by day
Depression may never fully go away
I will fight to keep it at bay
Many signs pop in to say
The Universe is within Me as is the suns rays

May the warm April sun shine on your world and bring you happiness. John
