Unlike Me, Her Hair is Made of Rabbit Pelt

Somedays,
In the blue I am unhappy

Somedays the clouds are
Wrong

The mother-friend becomes
ugly

Somedays, I am a goose who would like
To be anything else

My friend says it best -
We are sapphires

Unlike me, her hair is made
Of rabbit pelt

I could love her but
Today, I'd rather not -

Somedays in the blue
I’d like to kill myself
