Depression is a Thief
Depression is a thief that can rob you of all reason
never staying the same like the changing of a season
Depression is a liar whispering in your ear
telling you awful things that you shouldn't have to hear
Depression is a prison with bars of your own creation
keeping you trapped in a dungeon, with sorrow as the only temptation
Depression is killer that is vicious in their attack
The weapon they use is thoughts that can not be taken back
Depression is a thief that can take away the ones you love
I hope the stolen find peace in the stars up above
