I Wonder

I Wonder

I wonder
If I’ve gone too far
Exposing far more
Of myself
Without lnowing what
The enquirer’s
Have hidden
About their own
Grenades.

Whike everyone
Had some kind of
Fog they clean to
It seems that
More often than not
Those who look
For bullets
Try to hide the
Machine guns
Of lies they sling.

But the moon offers
So much hope

Yet
I facing
The drying leaves
Of mortality

Know
That the only
Option
I have
Is
Just a quiet
Acceptance
That I’ve found
Life to be
A movie —

Could the film
Be mine
If I never
Directed it!

I’ve done much
Out of grief
For what
I’ve never had.

I fill canyons
With dust
Which is to say
Nothing is filled.

I’ve come to expect
Tears behind
The pale
Image of the moon

Being erradecated
Quite like my feelings.

I sometimes want
To move
So far from home,
Or any home
I’ve known.

This poem evokes so much imagery and context that it holds one in place and urges more. There is a small typo, "Whike" should be "While". Just a minor edit is required. I hope to read more and I hope that is okay for saying! My favourite line is "But the moon offers so much hope". I can relate to this feeling.
