When we lay in the dark
Holding each other’s hearts
It’s still hard for me to believe
That I am with you
My dream came true
When we were apart
The only dream in my heart
Was to be with you
To be in your heart
When I wake up everyday
It amazes me
That I’m with the one
I always dreamed it would be
We were apart for so long
But nothing changed
You are still the man from my dreams
The one I prayed for everyday
I prayed that you would come find me
And take me away
I prayed that you would come and say
That I was the one and you felt the same way
With everyone that I met
They didn’t even stand a chance
I was only in love with one man
I tried so hard to find someone
That could compare to you
But no one ever came close
To how much I loved you
With every smile I had to fake
Only made me miss
The one you put on my face
I missed the girl I was with you
I didn’t have to pretend
You loved me just the way that I am
I love the person I am inside
I hated that I had to hide
Because no body got to see
The real me or know
How beautiful I am inside
The one thing you’ve made me see
That you are in love with the real me
I no longer have to hide
All the beauty that’s inside
