Lilith

You dance with a serpent, I dance with a rose.
You're Lilith, I'm not Eve, the story goes.
Storms and dreams your essence they compose,
I'm fed by waters from the sky that flows.

Your blood is venomous, mine meets mortality,
The looming curse unites our realities.
You're Lilith, accused and banished from paradise,
I remain unrecognized like the fruit of vanity.
