Open Your Eyes and See

Today it feels like a summer's day
But only i konow this climate will be teperate.
It will soon fade away like the darling buds of May
And all of this wil end on a specific date.

The last day when the sun las shines
When you realize the reason is you
To why it seems as if the earth declines.
Around you the day and night will soon become blue.

Soon the life around this paradise will fade
And only you will be left behind.
On a place filled with plenty of shade
Not even the lord will give you a hand.

Because he wold want you to open your eyes and see
That you haven't given life to thee.

I notice a lot of people are feeling this way lately. It's so sad the world has come to this. SO hard to have hope. I love that line: it will soon fade away like the darling buds of May. It is such a pleasing way to say it. Luv, andrea
