Out of Touch

Like A Moth Attracted to Glow
Tethered Bonds Starved of Light Cannot Grow
Denied Accessed, Insouciant Persona At Best
I Imagined My Savior Ambivalent,
Celibate Soul, Core Suppressed
I've never Yearned for much
Yet I Crave Your Time, Devoted Obsession,
Most of All Your Tender Touch!

You Are My Sun, I Am Your Moon
Set My Heart on Ablaze,
Disintegrate the Gilded Cage that Cocoons Passion
Expressions and Confessions On an Inked Stained Page
Of My Timeless Mate, Tampered By Fate
I Will Wait for you While Watching the Magnolias Bloom
Or should I Await Your Comfort Before The Cold Winter's Gloom
Only for your Touch!

Shadowy Tendrils of The Forsaken and Forlorn Fashioned to Entrap Me
My Protective Ward Shields Me Like Thorns of A Rose
I Am the Exquisite Black Star Gladiolus
Averting Possessive Desires, Sprung from the Blood of Hyacinthus!
I Reflect Strength, Perseverance and Integrity
More than a Garden Display or Bridal Bouquet, Mahogany Sword Lily!
Tubular Attraction, Valuable My Nectar, Tender My Maroon Corolla
So Pure yet Poisonous, Noble Masterpiece of Florists' Touch

I Am the Delicate Atropa Belladonna
Your Nexus of Pain and Passion
Your Presence Snatching My Ragged Breath
A Silenced Threat, Dissolving My Frayed Resolve
A Puzzle That Can Never Be Solved
Flesh is Fleeting, Your Efforts to Woo Me
Ever Tireless and Intriguing, Constantly Pleading
Whispering Needs Inked, Out of My Reach, Out of Touch
