Missing Link
Another Dawn light awakens me
to face another day
To live my life and learn from it
in every single way
The children hold tomorrow
in hopes & dreams & tears
The world depends on children
to overcome its fears
Although we want to hide away
tomorrow may not come
And anything the past has hurt
has been already done
No changing of the present
the past has all now gone
We only have the future
to overcome as one
And in this world
I need not more than you
For without your love in my heart
it would be torn in two
So when your found say to me
that never you will leave
And in your eyes I'll see your love
and therefore will believe
For its from you my brother
I wait to fill the missing link
To show you who I am
and how I really think
For me to give you
the flower of love
Is what I really need
Then we can start our lives together
Once we've planted that seed
