THE BROKEN OWL

Every night, the Owl look at the sky and sees the Moon
the moon seem lonely and sad
She feels symphaty for the moon
over the time symphaty turns into love
deep love
So she flies into the sky
leaving the earth and the people who love her
just to be with her beloved Moon
and when she reach the sky
she sees beautifully shining moon surrounded by twinkling stars
But the Moon doesn't even look at her
At the end, she wanted to return to the Earth
But her wings had been broken, so do her heart
Now she had nowhere to go and nowhere to return

A favourite:) Sympathy did not lead to the romance that Owl was dreaming of, and left her broken. This is a very moving poem. I like the slight dialect that is yours, eg. 'the moon seem lonely '. It works well with the owl's thinking and feeling which is never something in perfect grammar. That is my favourite line, 'the moon seem lonely and sad'. I also like your repeat of 'nowhere'. J :)

I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
