I Saw the Light

i saw the light yesterday,
ragged breath by ragged
breath, how lovely was
this light a promisising
light. i felt light and warm,
uplifted by this light. i saw
it i swear i did, it was the
hand of God who said
you my not come in i
have a chore for you
so you must live my
child, but someday
you will sit with me
in all my glory.

A calling to a higher purpose? I have felt the hand of god, but never seen the light. Excellent piece.
