Why

You wasn't ready, or maybe it was me
I still don't understand how could this be
I thought at last it was my time to shine
I couldn't help but to smile and shine
I started planning right away
Even thought of the games we would play
But now you are to far for me to reach
I think of you on a beach
At an ocean on heaven's land
But this is not at all what I planned
I want you here with me
Where you can run wild and free
I wanted you to love and to hold
It still hurts ven months after i was told
That you had gone where i can't be
If there was a reason, I still can't see
Why wouldn't he let you stay
There are too many tears to wipe away
Sometimes I wear a smile that is fake
I have been given all the sorrow i can take
Some people say they know how I feel
But I hope they never will
Because losing you was the hardest thing
But i close my eyes and I can hear you sing
For a few weeks you were my baby
But i know I'll see you some sweet glorious day.
