If I Could Go Back

If I could change our past history,9
All the shame would be a distant pain,8
Our story would have no start, cuz,7
a chance you wouldnt obtain,6
Our love just a mystery,5
No pain would exist,4
Tears wold cease,3
Never explored,2
Joy.....,1
No more cryng from night till morning,9
No painful memories, no sad stories,8
My hatred would be consumed,7
My life would be joyful,6
or so I presume,5
my innocence,4
now distant,3
I would,2
retain....,1
I could love aother with no regret,9
could learn to trust and to have faith,8
that there would be no secrets,7
Finally committed,6
to something real & true,5
cuz there is no,4
memory ,3
of you,2
True?.....,1
