Youth

Is it the brink of youth?
That weighs down the soul of mine
Pace of life faster than the Sunlight
Some urge burning me more than its scorching heat
Urge to be seen, be found and rise above all in this war
While Survival itself stands as a question
In midst of the hustle and life
All the heart desires is a companion along
No expectations, just singing a song
Perhaps a lullaby that puts me to sleep
A deep long sleep before the hustle starts again
Leaving behind loneliness as a bargain
Hustle turns the child into an adult
Losing the softness to a warrior's core
I'll thank these days in my tomorrow, they say
I may or may not who knows?
But something fate will never deny
That someone survived the storms
And her hope didn't die...
