Rising from ashes
I thought you were my anchor
who made me feel safe in one place
Never let me drift away
Lost in the ocean of darkness.
You helped me stay calm in the chaos
Kept me grounded in abundance
You gave me strength and patience
I think it was not by chance.
You helped me fall asleep
Glid me through the ocean of peace
You gave me peaceful dreams
Kept me sane by all means.
You brought me joy on gloomy days
And helped me breathe in suffocation
You brought life to my creativity
And kept me moving in stagnation.
You were like my compass
Who helped me with direction
I was just a lost soul
You lifted me up with vibration.
Now without you, I feel lost
without meaning or direction
Sailing through my life alone
Looking for my soul connection
I know I will find the courage
And the seeds of hope will sprout
Will find meaning and joy in life
That's what life is about.
