Misty Morning
Many a morning I wandered
as a cloud along unchartered paths
smiling at stiff mountain peaks
challenging my momentum.
Droplets of mist glided gently
along edges of glistening leaves
fresh from nightlong sleep
wrapped in blurred blanket.
Tall trees stand majestically
paying tribute reverentially
as starlit canopy brightens
with blooming radiant dawn.
Songs of birds afloat in sky
spread wings casting a spell,
as jocund spirit sways amidst
magical cadence of tranquility!
