Hello,

This is obviously the first time that I have written a poem as I’m sure you will all be able to tell. I just need an outlet and wanted to try something new. Please give me your honest feedback.

As I stated into the deep blue ocean,
My truth was finally awoken.
As waves are briskly brushing, I realise I am nothing.

I am used. I am broken.
I am powerless. I am hated.
I am gullible, always vulnerable.

             Always Weak.

Your voice, your whisper impaled my ear,
I am now forever in fear.
Depressive episodes never far in the distance,
You ruined my confident, joyful exsistance.

As the day draws to a close,
I always take a huge dose.
The pain, it numbs
My mood, it brightens.
Overdose will always be a fear,
Though not as much as knowing you are near.

Thank you for reading,

Please provide feedback below.

I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
