Foreign Lives

Lately, I've been under a lot of pressure,
It's getting harder and harder just to remember,
Just what exactly it was that brought me here,
Running away, foreign lives, could you tell me, my dear,

Why is it that the good must always die young,
Will you teach me exactly how I played my hands wrong,
Am I now everything I needed to be,
Would you hold my hand and make it easier to breathe,

Walking on for so long how did we get here,
Are you still living all your lies under the pressure,
As the truths always so far never to near,
Running away empty nights its hard to remember,

Sometimes we live long enough to become the bad guy,
As all thats right dies to soon to stop and wonder why,
Is it from the desperation that brings the tears,
And won't you tell me please what is your deepest fear,

Why is it that the good must always die young,
A melancholy dance begins as a bell is rung,
Am I now everything I needed to be,
Could you let me go now as it's all to hard to breathe.
