OPEN YOUR EYES

Everything is exactly the way it should be,
I know this when I'm thinking clearly.
Until I get lost in the chatter of my mind,
Loosing my awareness I become blind.
Blind to the perfection of this universe,
My mind is a blessing and also a curse.
The constant chatter never goes away,
And never has anything helpful to say.
Loosing sight of perfection all around,
Forgetting all the beauty that surrounds.

Life took billions of years to get here,
Right now took billions of years.
I'm too lost in thought to even see,
The miracles happening infront of me.
Billions of years to get to where we are,
All beginning with one exploding star.
Stop thinking and open your eyes,
Get out of your head away from the lies.
The lies you tell yourself again and again,
It's time to put it all to an end.
See the perfection in all that you see,
Open your eyes and set yourself free.
