a poets picture

a poets picture, a wordsmiths maze
a beautiful painting , by an artist who’s crazed
poetry is blues without any rhythm
like serving a lifetime in a self made prison
still one true and guiding light
expression of thought so i can sleep at night
pen on paper or line in the sand
can it stand the test off time

Poets can express an idea and that idea can be interperted so many ways by the reader. Good idea presented here. Keep writing. Sara
