Breathe

Breathe for me, dearest one...
Before to long, i will be gone...
I choose to leave, this world behind...
Stand back, separate, no need to change my mind...
This wasnt my intentions, as my days began...
I wanted to rise above life, be the bigger man...
But strength is needed, when you try to topple pain..
And i have no powers, and no more can i maintain...
With no remorse, i leave you...to fight this world alone...
And make this land a more beautiful place, once i am gone...
Lay me in the grave, or spread my ashes in the sea...
because is the last wish, for the broken fool known as me...

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
