To My Father
Dad, you are the man,
I always looked up too,
I know you tried your best,
To teach me the good from bad,
You also always inspired me,
To do my best in life,
Even when I made poor choices,
In my life,
You always gave me hope,
To learn from my mistakes,
And keep my goals in sight,
You've been down so many roads,
That you tried to keep me,
From going down,
And making the same faults,
I never realized,
How valuable you were,
But once I started growing up,
I started to see your points,
And how valuable they were,
So, know my dad,
You were more to me,
Than just the man who raised me,
You were the the guidance,
To show me,
Everything in life,
That helped me during my life,
That once I turned into a man,
I see more of you in me,
Which tells me,
You are always with me,
No matter where I go,
Or what I do in my life,
I thank you for being a man,
Who I know,
Will watch over me,
Till the end,
And this I will continue to see,
For I know you are always,
Here in my heart,
I know I will see you,
Again in heaven,
For I know this,
Is where you will be,
Waiting for all of us to meet you,
In Heaven's Gate,
To be as a family again,
Love you always, Dad,
Your in my heart,
And I will never forget you,
Because your love,
Was unconditional and true.
