Keep On

On a side walk
keep up with the pace
of people not paying any attention to you
Get a glimpse of your reflection
as you pass by a shop window
You are these people
Resolute ones dead set on the unknown
or someone walking ahead yakking on the phone
Someone you wouldn't care about
So keep on.
If you see a familiar face
smile and nod
Nothing more than that
It would be unnatural to blabber
like reading a senseless script
Just keep on
It is fascination with subtlety
that makes a person stare back at a chaotic world
We could all just keep on looking seeing nothing
Search for a rainbow in a pool of blood
Fly while free-falling
Believe there is truth in every lie.

Keep on. It is just a matter of choice.
