Her Majesty

She woke up around 1:00A.M.
She went to the bedroom with her lustrous eyes
Watching me
She was cold from the night air,
and she returned with a blanket
She looked at me as she did love
I wasn’t asleep,
I was fully awake
The blanket she had became invisible to the cold night
As she covered my naked body,
She held me tight and moaned
And in the midst of passion…
I looked into her soul
She loved me and hated me all at once,
It was like a pleasant pain
She held me
I was a premature baby again
She didn’t let go
She covered my naked body once more,
	But not with a blanket
		Love
As I looked into her eyes, I was lost in her ebony-majesty
And as she exhaled,
I took all her breath as my own
I revealed my true self while she was asleep
I am Love
The cool night almost had her
My love kept her warm
She placed her head near my chest
My heaven on earth was beside me
I had no way to express this boundless Love
I cried
She never knew I felt godlike hardships
		That no mortal would understand
Must I die to receive her love?
Like a sick eagle looking at the sky,
I slowly turned away from her, knowing…..
That I would lose her when the morning came……
