This Familiar Feeling
What could have been,
A thought often had.
It is a phrase about then
That often makes one sad.
Regret.
What could I have done different,
A thought often had.
A phrase about decisions made
Which could have been bad.
No one knows the answer or how it would have played
If something else had happened on that fateful day.
Regret.
This isn't a game where we can save and load
We are stuck with what we get, we cant change the mode.
It is difficult to escape,
And I will bet
We all know this feeling;
The feeling of regret.
