Love Finally Realized
What is the end result of what I seek.
What does love have in store for me.
I seem to be a slave to its possibilities.
But this pursuit has blinded me from me. Misguided I have been to believe that the idea of
love is the truth and my only missing piece.
It has seemed in my past the love I have sought does not want to claim me.
Why does love forsake me. It has me believing that it’s not love but me.
It’s me that does not know to recognize its presence upon me.
I seem to instinctively place myself in a way where love is behind a one-sided mirror.
Trying to reach it leaves me tired from the effort, emotionally exhausted; like swimming
against the current of a river.
If love can’t see me then it can’t return this feeling; and it’s from that where I am left alone.
Left alone to question my approach, my deliver, my overall personality.
I hoped that love will realize that we have one thing in common, and that is we have never
known each other.
I have never experienced you, not even from my family.
Maybe if we meet you see that I am worthy, or maybe we are truly different. It may be that
you truly don’t believe in me.
I yearn for that day; that day when you can finally see me, and maybe that will be when it
will move beyond you and me. To the point where it is just we.
Love I know you can hear, I will never stop believing in you. So I will patiently wait for that
day you realize you need me too.
