The Victor
i stand alone,
weathered,
the battle is over,
there is nothing left,
i have nothing more to give,
they gave up,
gave in,
they lost,
that makes me the winner,
the last one standing,
atop my mountain,
there is no view here,
no great sight to behold,
but it is mine,
and i shall carry it with me back down the mountain
