Freedom

It dialutes your brain and makes you feel hazy
Takes control of everything and makes you kind of crazy

Your face is cold and pale
Your body is so frail
Release me from this nightmare
Feels like I'm in jail

You said you needed saving
But I couldn't help you out
I felt like I was drowning
But I'm here to tell you now

I'm free, free from all the hurting
I made something of myself

Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
