Money Lost

I had some money, was it taken by some ghost,
Wanted pancakes but now can only afford toast.
Was it the notorious kid next-door,
Or some theif who was getting bored.
It's not even near the lamp post, my money lost!

Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Got a feeling it was the guy next door. Saw him flashing the cash, flipping pancakes, having a bash. In saying that, could have been a ghost.
