Where the Heart Sleeps

Driven by the call of existence
I was urged to live my story,
I left the warmth of mother’s womb
to manifest Soul’s glory!

With courage of the bravest knight
I pulled through walls of safety,
with hope to feel the rays of sun,
to fill with Love what’s empty!

And soothing Love entered the heart
to let it know its meaning,
but not from all that meant to guide
and care, from the beginning.

The tiny heart without a chance
to do what heart knows truly,
received a blow that wounded it,
forever and cruelly.

A song of bliss suffered from silence,
and clouds covered child’s brightness,
and pain was heard even in Heaven,
Soul lost its voice and lightness!

So I collected the broken pieces
of heart afraid of trusting,
and hid them in the deepest depth,
to make it everlasting.

Protected by an iron shield,
and a sword that knows no fear,
The little heart still felt the pain,
because it couldn’t Be.

And what a warrior grew out of battles
that served to save my Being,
making my will strong as the shield,
making my will more willing!

While fighting with the biggest daemons,
and fears dreaming of safety,
the warrior also destroyed her joy,
and happiness…….so bravely!

But what the warrior has really longed for
was Love and recognition,
the heart was hidden though and betrayed,
the warrior failed in her mission.

Being a victim of my own protections
is not easy to swallow,
I’m ready now for a new direction,
There is a path to follow.

I honour you my loyal warrior,
and what you’ve done to save me,
but now it’s time for you to rest,
time for the heart to Be!

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
