My Illusions

In the depths of my mind
I search for what I can't find
Lost in a world of illusions
Chasing dreams, facing confusion

I'm trapped in a maze of mirrors
Reflecting fears and desires
But reality is fleeting
And truth keeps on retreating

I reach out for a touch of truth
But it slips away like smoke
I'm haunted by my illusions
In this never-ending joke

I paint pictures with my words
Creating worlds that don't exist
But the colors start to fade
As the truth becomes persist

I'm tangled in a web of lies
Spun by my own deceit
I'm lost in this illusion
A prisoner of my own retreat

I long for a glimpse of clarity
To pierce through the haze and fog
But the more I try to see
The deeper I sink in this mirage

I'm chasing shadows in the dark
Hoping to find a guiding light
But the darkness closes in
And I'm consumed by the night

In this realm of illusions
I search for what is real
But truth eludes my grasp
And illusions are all I feel
