Your Eyes

When I stare deep into your eyes i seem to drift away,
an image so beautiful i can harly look away,
your eyes are what i hope to get a glimpse of when we pass in the hallway,
your eyes are what i look forward to at the end of everyday.

The shine from your dark black eyes,
is far more amazing than any star in the dark night skies.

Here it is Sunday and the begining of a new week is upon us. And August is leaving us way to soon. I am enjoying reading such excellent poems today and am happy to see your poetry among them David. May your pen forever flow. Love, Carol
