Untitled

am i a sinner or a saint am i a predator or a prey wolf or sheep will i ever know why such easy questions stay unanswered and why i think day and night about all the things ive missed out on and lost all because i play my voice like an instrument my sound ever muffled my mind ever crowded with these shouting matches that never see the light of day 'less they decide for me when they themselves know little of how i wish to hide under the spotlight writing on these pages like im trying to empty a sinking boat spooning out each thought the hole at the bottom of the boat keeps filling the boat my words clinging to these pages like a life raft floating aimlessly through a sea untraveled hoping one day a page of this desperate life raft flies off into the wind to grant another safe passage to an island of their own letting them put down their own spoon when my story is finished and my words have run dry.
