What Is It Like To Be Alone?

What is it like to be alone?

It’s like summer turning into winters cold,

With the sky turning dark and no lights to let you see,

It’s a pain hidden way too deep,

Colorful eyes staring you down,

But then they turn right around,

No one being there to help you through,

No one there to teach you life’s one rule,

It’s a harsh world when you’re all alone,

No one to help your weak fragile bones,

The tears will fill your face every day,

With once lost friends who didn’t wish to stay,

The world around you is always dark

The sun wishing to never give you a simple spark,

Once again you lay your head to rest,

And everyone denies seeing you at your best,

You get pushed away all day long,

And you always feel like you will never belong,

This is what it is like to be alone,

It’s like the world crushing your every bone.
