Letting Go

Letting Go

There were doubts, yes there were fears,
There were bouts of hurt and tears.
You weren't mere a passing cloud
You were more than a blessing rain.
Rainbows are mischievous,so were you
Rare colors! I thought; but dubious were you.
Letting go is not easy for me love
Not easy to behold this pain and leave.
Away you fly ,your mean shadow trail behind
In search of new green meadows ,leaving me blind.
Now that I ponder,my thoughts make me wonder
Wow!did we have a love that would surrender??
Or were we mere carnal hues of lavender
Born to be tender ,but withered at a mere thunder?
