The Recovery

The pain has faded and the tears are long gone. But nevertheless still feeling mixed
signals weeks after. You can still be seen with him. I'm with him and he's with me. But
not how it use to be. Just in a friends way, which is completely random. Still want to be
my man and hold my hand, more like a boyfriend #2. Well technically #1 because I'm not
dating anyone. Text messages still vibrate, phone calls still ring. To say things are the
way they use to be is a lie. Half of my heart is destroyed but i can't blame him,
completely. Weeks late... he's not single. Now there's this awkward silence on the phone.
Where we go from here who knows. Life is rough and complex relationships make it harder.
So stay in your lane and your prince charming will find you like a destination on map quest.
