Remember

Do you remember it?
The painting you showed me with a secret it kept
On the night of the ball where we had met
Where all we wanted was a life with no regrets
Do you remember it?

Do you remember it?
How we ran through the halls with bliss
With a feeling we never intended to miss
Where the secret-keeping painting was the only witness to our first kiss
Do you remember it?

Do you remember it?
Our walks through the rose garden in full moon
With stolen kisses and our love in bloom
And nothing else around us but the foggy night gloom
Do you remember it?

Do you remember it?
How we used to laugh and cry
Under the starry night sky
Until you told me your final and last goodbye
Do you remember it?

Of course you don't
You could never do
It was stupid of me to assume
I could've had everything with you

But maybe in another life
You would stay here just to stay mine
Even if it's just for a little while
Before we would run out of time

For the sake of your dear life
Would you remember it

I would have put down "free verse" as the type of poem. Well written too! The repetitive lines make sense.
