I cannot keep up

This pace I cannot keep up 
Soon we're going to call it a wrap 
The more I blink the more agile it gets
Every time I breathe, it's on my life I'm placing the bets 
This dirging song gets louder in my head 
As I nigh the end I don't know if I'm going to be alive or dead
