Antihero

Our love was superhuman
Now it has become a ghosting promise
The memories we shared together got lost in the sand we used stand in
How could a love like this turn out so villainous?
I became the antihero today
I’m a stone cold killer of the love we once knew
My heart leapt out of my chest and ran away
I never thought that I would end up like you
Cold and alone, here lies my soul
Along this dark, winding road
My words come and go without my control
I always waited but you never showed
My mind is fragmented into a thousand woes
I thought it would be better for you to know
