I Sometimes See You

I sometimes see you,
Despite the distance,
And all the time passed,
I sometimes see you.

I sometimes see you smile,
In a passing face,
I see your frown and elevated brows,
in people around me.

I sometimes see your waving hair,
Your gait, swinging in the air
i sometimes see you in someone your height,
i sometimes see a person wear your hair the same way. (you do)

I sometimes see you and we 'speak',
Even in silence, a thousand words are said,
I sometimes see you laugh,
And i often wonder if your happy.

I sometimes see you in my dreams,
Sweet dreams full of hope and joy,
I sometimes see you in nature,
in the peace that beckons me to her,
I sometimes wee you in me, knowing how i have changed because of you.

I wonder if you see me,
In the little things you do,
in the books you read, movies you see,
Don't you see me anymore?
For I sometimes see you.

Should you not see me anymore,
Worry not, for I sometimes see you.
