I'M No Good At Goodbye

A laugh as I wave Hello-
O' He's a jolly good fellow
But when it is time to leave
I become maudlin, melancholy, bereaved

So I decide
Not to decide
I go and hide
And let it slide

As my friend departs
I end it before I ever start
Watching their back as they go
Shrug my shoulders and so 'so'

Really I'm terrified
Feeling dead inside
I'm the best at saying Hi
O' how I'm no good at goodbye
