After

We should have been opening presents,
We should have been roaring with laughter,
We should have all been celebrating
Instead we were left with after.

After all the heartbreak
After all the tears we wipe away
After all the sleepless nights
We find ourselves here today

Today there should have been cake
Today a party full of people and love
Today we will be raising glasses
To celebrate your 18th up above

Thanks for sharing this. I greet you with the love of the Lord expressed in John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
