Almost Only Counts in Horseshoes and Hand Grenades

Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades
And definitely not with girls.
They’re good at leading you on and making you pay
Then tearing apart your world.
I guess they’re kind of like horseshoes, the way they wrap around you
And kick dust in your face when they land
But they’re more like hand grenades, explosive and unpredictable
And might blow up before they leave your hand.
