Far Away

Far Away by L.W.Pick

Far away from this dry brown land,
My mind does want to wander.
On grief, regret and wasteful thought,
My time I will not squander.

Dream of a place of endless bounty,
Where unconditional love replaces fears.
There we enter the Summerland,
On those glorious rainbow stairs.

Or through a tunnel of light,
Where Angels lead the way,
To bathe in the love of Eternity,
This earthly life the price we pay.

You are a speck of consciousness,
Once born you cannot die.
This life will shape your character,
One facet at a time.

We strive to prove we are better,
We must be first in the race.
We must have more of whatever,
Or stand in the highest place.

But all of this is ego driven,
And matters not a damn.
If we forget the love and respect,
We owe to our fellow man.

Though we are made of love and light,
Few will shine in this dimension.
We will find our home on the other side,
Worthy of our thoughts and intentions.

When the time has come to leave this Earth,
To leave this worn out body behind.
Back to where before our birth,
Our Spirit family we'll find.

So set the bar as you dare ,
Ensure you have a good go.
You cannot lose, just play fair,
It's the game that helps us grow.

Yes, in where there was no hope, we have hope in Christ Jesus in the home He is preparing for us. Thanks for sharing this one with us. I like the faith-based work. Sara K
